Hi, I’m Susan Remmert. I’m an engineer by studies and a technical marketer by profession.
I started my career in the embedded systems industry, working with OEMs across marketing, digital strategy, and product management. Today, I’m a Project Marketer at The Linux Foundation.
Currently, I support the Zephyr and ELISA projects, working closely with global communities to improve visibility, engagement, and collaboration. At the Zephyr Project, I manage the global developer meetup program, helping connect and grow communities worldwide.
Earlier, I supported initiatives like OpenSSF, Linux Foundation Europe, and the Open Mainframe Project, contributing to community growth and marketing efforts across the open source ecosystem.
I’m passionate about growing open source communities through collaboration and storytelling. When projects need support, I enjoy stepping in, sharing my knowledge, and helping wherever I can.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, reading, and listening music.
